Controls and buttons

Press the Power/Bluetooth button to power on Sonos Ace and pair a device. Use the Content Key to control playback, adjust volume, manage calls, and more. The Noise Control button lets you quickly switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Aware mode.

Does Sonos Ace require the Sonos app to set up and use?

No. Sonos Ace uses Bluetooth to pair with devices. Select features must be enabled with the Sonos app on a device with internet connection.

Will the Sonos app work with Sonos Ace when I'm not connected to my home WiFi network?

Yes. Even when your mobile device is not connected to WiFi, you can use the Sonos app to register Sonos Ace and control select features.

Does Sonos Ace require WiFi?

No. Sonos Ace uses Bluetooth to pair with and connect to devices.

Can I use an aux cable with Sonos Ace?

Yes. Connect to your preferred analog sources using the included USB-C to 3.5 mm cable. The included USB-C to USB-C cable can also be used for a wired connection.

What soundbars work with Sonos Ace?

Sonos Ace works with Arc, Beam (Gen 2), Beam, and Ray.

Does Sonos Ace connect to my Sonos system?

Sonos Ace does not group in the same way your other Sonos speakers group. You can use Sonos Ace to swap TV audio back and forth with select soundbars.

Is Sonos Ace waterproof?

Sonos Ace is not waterproof and does not have an official water resistance rating.
