Soundhous · Invisible Audio for high-end homes
If you are building or renovating a high-end home and do not want speaker grilles interrupting stone, timber, lighting or bespoke finishes, Soundhous designs Invisible Audio into the architecture before the final finish — with simple Sonos control when you move in.
Better sound belongs in a more beautiful home
Designed to disappear
You have invested in the architecture of your home. The lighting, stone, timber, furniture and wall finishes should remain the visual experience — not the loudspeakers.
Invisible Audio is installed into a prepared wall or ceiling and finished over as part of the surface. The music remains. The speaker disappears.
How it disappears
Invisible Audio is best designed while your home is still being planned, built or renovated. Soundhous coordinates the audio with the architecture rather than asking you to find somewhere for speakers later.
We study the room, listening areas, ceiling and wall construction, furniture intent and adjoining spaces before locating anything.
The Sonance IS6 is integrated into the prepared wall or ceiling and coordinated with the builder, architect and finishing team.
The surface is completed across the speaker to the installation specification. There is no conventional speaker grille left to see.
Soundhous tests, configures and commissions the system so music feels native to the room and everyday control stays simple.
The Soundhous approach
We do not ask where you want to put the speakers. We ask how the room will be lived in.
That difference determines placement, coverage, bass reinforcement, zoning and how the system should evolve with your home.
Where it belongs
For carefully composed rooms where visible grilles would compete with stone, timber, art, lighting or bespoke wall treatments.
Music belongs in the room without turning a carefully designed ceiling into an equipment layout.
Background and social listening can be designed around how people gather rather than around visible loudspeaker positions.
Double-height volumes, galleries, corridors and other design-led spaces where visual restraint matters as much as sound.
Invisible Audio does not need to be used in every room. We can combine invisible, architectural and conventional Sonos solutions across one home according to the purpose and priority of each space.
The technology behind the experience
You do not need to choose the equipment yourself. Soundhous designs the right combination for the room — and the technical details are here if you want them.
Invisible loudspeaker
The loudspeaker becomes part of the finished architectural surface. Quantity and placement are resolved from the room rather than from a pre-built bundle.
Amplification + Sonos
Powers the passive loudspeakers and brings streaming, grouping and everyday Sonos App control into the invisible room.
Optional low-frequency support
Added only where the room needs more low-frequency energy and the subwoofer can be positioned discreetly. It is not a mandatory part of every Invisible Audio room.
The room determines the speaker count, positions, amplification and bass requirement. The products serve the architecture — the architecture does not serve a pre-built product bundle.
Because Sub Mini is physically visible, Soundhous uses it only where it can sit discreetly. If your brief requires zero visible audio hardware, we will design the low-frequency approach around that requirement.
What to expect
The best time to design it is while architecture, MEP and interior finishes can still accommodate the installation cleanly.
Wall and ceiling preparation matters. Soundhous coordinates installation requirements with the finishing team before the surface is closed.
We reserve Invisible Audio for spaces where its visual value is justified and use other architectural solutions where they make more commercial sense.
We define the priority rooms first, then protect the experience without automatically specifying the most expensive option everywhere.

Integrated-home design experience dating back to 2010
Invisible Audio crosses architecture, interiors, electrical, networking, finishing and commissioning. The team behind Soundhous brings integrated-home design experience dating back to 2010, giving the homeowner, architect and interior designer one audio partner responsible for making those disciplines meet.
See the difference
For decades, architectural audio meant accepting a visible grille. Invisible Audio removes that compromise. Drag the control to compare the same wall with a traditional in-wall speaker and with the speaker integrated behind the finish.
Is my project at the right stage?Same room. Same wall finish. One design decision changes what you see.
Soundhous Experience Centre · Victoria Island, Lagos
Invisible Audio is difficult to appreciate from a photograph. At the Soundhous Experience Centre, you can hear a finished room while the loudspeakers remain hidden within the surface.
You do not have to imagine the difference. Come and experience it before deciding where it belongs in your home.
The Digital Concierge will contact you to arrange a suitable time and will already know that your visit is specifically for Invisible Audio.
The cleaner question
In a high-end home, the question no longer has to be “where should the grille go?” It can be “why should there be a grille at all?” Soundhous designs the loudspeaker into the architecture so the room remains the visual experience.
Bring Invisible Audio into my projectWhen to do it
Soundhous can start the design now. The cleanest installation happens while walls, ceilings and finishes can still accommodate the system.
The best time to coordinate speaker positions, wiring, wall build-up and finishing requirements.
Still an excellent stage if walls or ceilings remain accessible before final plaster, paint or decorative finish.
We assess access, wall build-up and the intended finish before confirming the integration path.
Invisible Audio may still be possible, but it can require more invasive work and may not be the most practical solution for every room.
